Leadership

David Freas
Managing Partner

David leads client engagements at Supermoon and aligns program planning, brand strategy and execution to the goals of our clients.

He helps organizations identify and realize growth opportunities through expertise in both branding and human-centered design, translating business objectives into creative action to transform brands and products into unique and compelling value propositions. David focuses on emerging spaces where brands need to navigate new technologies and behaviors.

For two decades David served in leadership roles at renowned global consultancies including frog, Landor, Smart Design and FutureBrand. His strategic work has led to digital entertainment innovations for Comcast Xfinity, new mobile device platforms for Microsoft, mobility services for Ford, and award-winning brand identities for fintech brands. At the core of each success was establishing high-performing, collaborative teams of designers, strategists, and technologists to consider innovative solutions and realistic plans to build and implement them.

He holds an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin with a focus on strategy and customer insights. Researching human behavior to inform brand and product strategy continues to be a favorite aspect of his work. You can find him sharing his expertise, learning from other experts, and generally geeking out at SXSW, CES, and anywhere the future gets made.

David and his wife, Jennifer, are parents of triplets plus one. When he isn’t brand building or spending time with his family in Mill Valley, you can find him trail running across Mt. Tamalpais.
